This Guarana flavoured soft drink from Brazil is a must try. It displays sweet apple and berry flavours, perfect to accompany a savoury dish such as Portuguese chicken.

Frozen Young Coconut Juice

Forget coconut juice in a can! If you are after the coconut juice often served at Vietnamese Restaurants, try the frozen coconut juice commonly found in the freezer section in Asian supermarkets around Cabramatta.

Vietnamese Salt & Pepper Mix - Muoi Tieu

Have you ever wanted a single, perfectly balanced salt & pepper seasoning for your food? Well, we've found it!  This Vietnamese salt & pepper mix is ideal for seasoning steaks, chicken and even a goose! But it doesn't end there, try it on your sandwiches, wraps, hot chips, salad, roast vegetables and freshly cut ox heart tomatoes. Available in some Asian Supermarkets.

Naan Roti

Perfect as an accompaniment to Indian food, with dips or as a sandwich wrap. It is light, thin and extremely tasty. We prefer this over the other supermarket brands. It is the closest thing to fresh tandoor bread. Available at selected Harris Farm Markets and Indian food stores. Trust me, 'You'll love it'!

Bertochi Serrano Prosciutto

This Serrano Prosciutto just melts in your mouth and believe it or not, we found this in our local Woolies supermarket. Perfect with bruschetta. Expect to pay around $45.99/kg but it is certainly worth it.

Kewpie Mayonnaise

By far the best mayonnaise in existence and it is now readily available in supermarkets. Kewpie mayonnaise is commonly found in Japanese dishes such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki, karaage, tonkatsu and yakisoba, to name a few. For those completely obsessed with Kewpie as I am, why not for breakfast on toast? Okay, so I am only slightly....no completely obsessed with this mayonnaise!

Finger Limes

It's that time of year again! Finger Limes are back in season. Also described as citrus caviar, this native Australian fruit from the East Coast is perfect as a show-off garnish to that special gourmet dish or as a refresher, simply added to sparkling or still water. Enjoy the pulp pop in your mouth, releasing the sour burst of lime juice.

Chilli Blast Cordial

Yes it's Chilli Cordial and funnily enough, it is very refreshing. It has a hint of lime and of course, a generous hint of chilli. One of our friends likes this so much, he drinks it undiluted!

Smoky Red Bean Salsa

If you haven't yet tried the products by the Byron Bay Chilli Company, you are seriously missing out. This multi-award winning company is not only taking Australia but the world by storm. A must try is their Smoky Red Bean Salsa which is very addictive, but not to worry it's 99.7% fat free and contains no added preservatives or colours. You can really taste the fresh ingredients and there is the right level of smokiness to complement the beans and the herbs. This is best served with toasted corn chips with sour cream and fresh coriander. It also makes a great topping in quesadillas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas and nachos.

Fromager d'Affinois

Simply heaven. This French double-cream soft cheese will have you licking the cheese board...seriously! And the best thing is, it is now available at selected Woolworths Supermarket stores.

Rustic loaf from Victoire

The Rustic Loaf from Victoire in Cammeray is undoubtfully the best bread in Sydney. If you are lucky enough to be there at the moment the bread pops out hot from the oven, you will know what I mean. This is more than just a bread. We recommend buying two loaves as one is guaranteed to disappear on your way home.

Matcha Salt

Eggs no longer need to be boring. Add a little Matcha salt (Japanese green tea salt) to poached eggs or a hard boiled egg to turn bland into glam. Sprinkle a little over hot tempura or cooked seafood to give the dish a refreshing lift.

Henaff Duck Mousse

Want indulgence without the price tag? Henaff Duck Mousse and Duck Mousse with Olives is a must try for all pate and foie gras lovers. Made in France, Henaff Mousse is an affordable luxury food item from a mere $3.30. Pop it in a picnic basket and serve with a crusty loaf of bread (we would recommend the Rustic Loaf from Victorie), cornishons, pickled onions and a good bottle of wine.
